l e d bulb fails again

i bought an  l e d  bulb  8 months back
LOTUS   brand . rs 500/-

i did not learn my lesson  from the  l e d  tube
which failed after 6 months.

true to style this bulb too went off after 8 months.
probably the power supply section failed.
the rectifier or the  smoothing coil.

l e d  bulb is the future
but we are spoiling it
who  will  buy an l e d  bulb or tube now
at  20 or 30 times the  normal price.
claimed to last minimum 5 yrs
failing in  just half an year
